My background in Massage Therapy

I was originally inspired by On-Site Chair Massage during my Undergraduate course at Art School in West Surrey. I decided shortly after to train with The Academy of On-Site Massage and qualified with Distinction in 1993.

Regular and busy visits to BBC Scotland, Glasgow followed.

After returning from doing On-Site Massage as part of my wonderful working holiday on New Zealand’s South Island, I co-established weekly visits in 1998 to Borders Books, Buchanan Street, Glasgow.  Both staff and customers were treated there weekly until it’s close in December 2009.

Between then and forming Relaxation Station in Glasgow, collaborations on health promotions at various venues throughout Glasgow took place. These included Yorkhill Hospital, Asda, The St Enoch Centre and Glasgow City Council’s Running Events.

After leaving the Airport, I studied Thai Yoga Massage at Kira Balaskas’s School of Thai Yoga Massage in London, where I qualified with Distinction in 2005, I consolidated existing contacts in Glasgow City Centre and elsewhere.

In 2022 I helped found and became part of the team at the Health Hub in Quarriers Village offering my massage there. And more recently in 2023/24 I studied and qualified in Spinal Flow Technique and now also offer this amazing therapeutic treatment which works on resetting the nervous system.
